Technology & Software Engineering

Technology that stays out of the way of the work.

Scope the technology work you cannot staff: managed support, software, security, cloud, and sites. Remote service can be planned for U.S. locations; discuss on-site needs in Lincoln, Omaha, and Denver. Accounting firms, contractors, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturers, nonprofits, and property managers.

The practices

Choose the work.

  1. 01Managed Services & SupportKnow who owns the work.
  2. 02Website DeliveryA site that keeps working for you.
  3. 03Custom SoftwareThe workflow, shipped.
  4. 04Zero-Trust SecurityAccess, decided on purpose.
  5. 05Cloud & InfrastructureMove only with a plan.
  6. 06AI Ops & AutomationThe repetitive work, taken.

Choose by the job

What needs to work next?

Running IT, launching a site, building software, securing access, changing infrastructure, and automating a queue are different engagements. Pick the job first; each practice explains its own scope and inquiry.

  1. Keep the working day running

People, sites, critical systems, current support owner, and the hours when an outage changes the business.

    Scope managed support
  2. Make the public site earn its place

Buyer groups, existing URLs, approved brand material, inquiry owner, and the person who can approve publication.

    Plan a website
  3. Replace a broken workflow

One real workflow, the people who use and approve it, source systems, exceptions, and a first usable outcome.

    Scope custom software
  4. Decide who can reach what

Critical resources, identity and device owners, outside access paths, and who authorizes material changes.

    Map access decisions
  5. Move or recover a critical system

Workload owners, dependencies, acceptable interruption and data loss, current costs, and the cutover decision maker.

    Plan infrastructure
  6. Take repeated work out of the queue

Case volume, current steps, exception types, data boundaries, and the person who must review consequential actions.

    Assess automation

These are LUCA's staffed services. NEXUS software products have separate availability and use gates; an inquiry here does not activate a product or authorize a system change.

Regional technology briefs

Start with the work and its owner.

Managed support, access design, infrastructure change, and custom software are separate decisions. Use the Lincoln managed-IT brief, Omaha job guide, or Denver remote-versus-on-site guide before scoping.

The workflow

How a technology job starts

  1. 01You name the practiceManaged operations, a website, software, security, cloud, or automation. Bring the one in front of you. We can take more than one.
  2. 02Twenty minutes with the ownerThe engineer who would run the work is on the call. There is no salesperson in between.
  3. 03A written scopeYou see what is included. If the job belongs in another division, we send you there.
  4. 04One ownerThe same person stays on the account. The work starts when that is true.

Before you book

Questions before you start.

Can you run our existing technology without replacing our internal IT lead?
Yes. Managed Services can be co-managed: your IT lead keeps the decisions while LUCA carries the support queues. Scope follows a technology audit.
Is Website Delivery the same as NEXUS Sites?
No. Website Delivery is a custom site LUCA builds and hosts, with optional ongoing care. NEXUS Sites is a separate product, scoped by request.
Where can you support us on site?
Remote support can be scoped for U.S. locations. Discuss on-site availability in Lincoln, Omaha, and Denver during the audit; coverage, hours, and any local-hands needs belong in the written scope.
What happens before a managed-services engagement starts?
The technology audit maps the people, devices, access, backup, and network path that the account needs. The written scope separates monthly care from projects.
Can Website Delivery include ongoing care?
Yes. LUCA can keep caring for a custom site after launch, or hand over a documented stack for your team to run.
